Clap your hands for another successful evening of PubGuys Trivia at the Chuggin' Monk! We had an even bigger turnout than the past two weeks, with a few teams popping in during Round 3 to make it a little more interesting. We even had some bar regulars who typically hang out and play tangentially, but they actually joined in for this game! I still haven't had a team pre-register in a few months, so everyone is missing out on that sweet, sweet, bonus point that's up for grabs every week. With all that said we had a great night, here's what happened:
Game Summary
Tonight, Piney Teenus returned once again, but did not take off with such a great lead this time. Newcomers Big Dawgz hung in there until the end, hitting 2nd place several times throughout the game, with a one-point difference between them and 1st. Dude Abides was back again as well, but he could only do so much against teams of 4+.
Round 5 was a killer for all the teams but Big Dawgs, but their sub-par performance in Round 2 ended up costing them 1st place. In the end Piney Teenus took first, and Big Dawgz took 2nd. Shoutout to Jen & Carlos and Big D*ck Bandits for jumping into the game from the bar! Here's one that stumped everyone:
It does not seem like this crowd had a big Rick & Morty following, although the joke is a reference to Season 1, so it could be considered a deep cut. The correct answer was:
