WOW! What a fun night at Division Brewing! Thank you to our Trivia Heads for letting me come in and host in place of Stephen. I was happy to see some familiar faces, such as Punching Ms. Daisy, and a few faces on the Ringers and Cheating Bastards! I hope you all had as much fun as I did last night, and from the scores, I would say you did!
What a competition tonight. After 2 rounds we had a titanic fight on our hands. Church of the Moose Oak, Punching Ms. Daisy, Boats and Hoes, and Cheating Bastards came out punching and kicking and taking a quick 1-point lead over You’ll Shoot your eye out. Every team was in the mix, but who would get the belt and be named champion for the week? Could this fast pace be maintained? What team would tire first? What team would be TKO’ed? Would a team just get knocked out? The next 3 rounds would be the key to this fight.
For most of the night, Punching Ms. Daisy and Church of the Moose Oak were tied and it would go to the judge’s card for our victory, or would it? 5 rounds in on this 6-round fight, we had a lead change! Church of the Moose Oak got in a few extra punches and points and took a 2-point lead going into the final round. Punching Ms. Daisy seemed to get winded and were fighting for their lives. Boats and Hoes, You’ll shoot your eye out, Sorry we’re on Tinder, and Cheating Bastards were still in the mix, just 4-7 points out of first with 1 round and 2 bonus questions to go. Top 5 hung in there but they got knocked out in the middle rounds. Periodic Table Dancers danced their way out of the top 4. Ringers appeared to be getting wrung out as they dropped down to 8th. What would we see in the last round?
With 13 bonus points, it looked like Punching Ms. Daisy may find a way to take 1st or tie, but then came the upper cut as they netted only 6 points in round 6. Church of the Moose Oak took a total of 10 bonus points but had an amazing final round, throwing blow after blow and landing that upper cut on Punching Ms. Daisy, they also took 10 points in the final round and took the WIN in tonight’s game. Boats and Hoes found their paddles in the final round with a total of 14 bonus points and 8 points in round 6 moving them to 3rd place.

It was a great crowd and a great night of Trivia! Again, thank you all for letting me join you last night as your guest host. The atmosphere was great, the beer was amazing, the food was hot. However, the best part was for me was the crowd!
Thanks to Mark and John for taking care of our Trivia Heads. You all make our job easier by serving up the cold beer while all I must do is talk.
