…and these teams were definitely up to no good but they sure had a vast amount of Harry Potter knowledge.
Thursday is always ½ Price pint night at Brutal Beerworks!
Game 1:
Tonight, we had Slytherin in the house and we all loved how you dressed up to play our Harry Potter themed trivia!
We had it all tonight! Book questions, movie questions and a lot of bonus questions. We were 2 rounds into the game, and it was going to be close as I Don’t give a Hufflepuff was sitting in the lead, barely, by 1 point over Dumbledamn and 2 points over Snapes on a Plane. Accio Beer was in the mix as well, sitting at 9 points but would need a good round 3 and some help from the bonus questions to get into the Winners podium.
With our top 2 teams taking 6 points in round 3, it came down to the bonus points and their round 1 score. Taking the W, we had I don’t give a Hufflepuff take the Triwizard cup in game 1. Dumbledamn was a close second at 22 points and Snapes on a Plane took 3rd at 20 points.

1st place Game 1 – I Don’t Give a Hufflepuff
Game 2:
One more game to go and who would take the Triwizard cup in game 2? Dumbledamn apparently cast a Petrificus Totalus on I don’t give a Hufflepuff to take the lead after 2 rounds. However, the effects were temporary, and they only had a 1-point lead. Accio Beer, was using their summoning powers to stay in the mix. Snapes on a plane, who dominated round 1 with an amazing 8 points, but they got hit with a Stupefy spell in round 2, taking only 1 point.
1 more round of dueling wizards to go to see who is victorious. Our top 3 teams all took 8 points from the final, 10-point, bonus question. However, with 7 points each in round 3, Dumbledamn and I don’t give a Hufflepuff took the lead over Accio Beer and Snapes on a Plane. With 28 points each, they would duel for the victory.
We did 4 quick tie breaker questions and both teams were not giving up. However, time was running out and in a show of great sportsmanship, Dumbledamn conceded and left the Triwizard cup to I Don’t give a Hufflepuff. However, we split the spoils and had 2 winners in game 2.

A huge shout out to Emily and Ethan for taking care of all the players this past Thursday night! You 2 did an amazing job keeping the beers full and bringing out hot, delicious pizza!
