The beloved Michael Scott said that during the run of The Office. Our teams joined tonight, at Brutal Beerworks, for some cold, craft beer and hot pizza or tots!
Game 1:
Our Office trivia heads were relaxing in the AC, had their beer (or cider) in hand and the food was being cooked. We had some awesome teams come out and show off their Office Knowledge!
The Finer Things Club and Voldermortz came to play as they were sitting at 12 and 11 points and looking to take the W! Schitt Stains were in the mix at 9 points. Big Tunas, ACTC, and The People Person’s paper people were all warming up to the game but with a good round 3, anything could happen.
All our teams did an amazing job in round 3 taking either 6 or 5 points. Schitt Stains took 6 points in round 3 to make a move but they fell just short ending at 15 points. With the addition of some random bonus questions, we had a 2-point separation between the top two teams, with The Finer Things Club taking the win in game 1 over Voldermortz. I could feel an intense rematch coming in game 2!

Game 2:
A single point can give you the Win or keep you just out of the money! Big Tunas, Voldemortz and The Finer Things Club were focused on the win but started off slow in round 1 with only 3 points each. ACTC and The People Person’s paper people were in the mix at 2 points. However, we still had 2 rounds to go and a 10-point bonus question!
With 12 points total in rounds 2 & 3, our top 3 teams were still in a tie. However, we had several questions worth more points if you provided me with more details and then we had the game ending 10-point bonus question! The Finer Things Club got 9 out of 10 on the bonus question but with just 2 bonus points, they saw their repeat chance fade as the fell into 3rd place, missing the W by 2 points. Big Tunas took 8 points on the bonus question and 4 additional points to end the game at 27 points, but it was 1 point show of Voldemortz game winning 28 points.
It was some fierce competition as these teams knew their ‘Office Trivia’!

A huge shout out to Lain and Ethan for taking care of all the players this past Thursday night! You 2 did an amazing job keeping the beers full and bringing out hot, delicious pizza!
