...as PubGuys were back hosting a theme night of 'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia'!
We are changing the start time to 7PM so it is easier for you to make it home, relax, change, and then head up to Brutal Beerworks for 2 fun filled games of Pubguys Trivia. Don't forget it is always FREE to play! Tonight we had a winner takes all format but the more teams that play we will expand to 1st and 2nd place prizes!
What a great inaugural night at Brutal Beerworks for Pubguys Trivia! We had our 'It's always sunny in Philadelphia' fans out to enjoy 2 games of FREE Trivia.

Game 1:
We had our beer, we had our food, and it was time to get started with our inaugural PubGuys Trivia night at Brutal Beerworks, with our theme of: ‘It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’.
Beautiful, Beautiful Gazelle People and Golden Gods came to play and took a quick lead over The Warthogs, Dunns, and Birds of War. With 2 rounds down they were sitting at 11 points and 8 points, and it was still anyone’s game.
Taking a quick breath before round 3, and ordering a fresh beer, the game was on. The finish line was visible, who would cross first? Who would pull a hamstring? Who would get penalized for PED’s? Taking just 2 points in rounds 2 and 3, Golden Gods ran out of breath and lost their stride out of the gate, leaving the door open for Beautiful, Beautiful Gazelle People to find their stride and cross the finish line 2 strides ahead and taking the W in game 1.
Overall, it was a close game between the teams with 3 points separating 3rd from 1st. How would game 2 go?

Game 2:
Just missing out on game 1, we had a new team, Flattasaur, join in the fun. Would Beautiful, Beautiful Gazelle People hang on and take the W in game 2? Would Golden Gods find a way to climb to the top of Mount Olympus and sit up top, looking down? Would Birds of War take flight and dive bomb the other teams to take the W? Who knows…but we will find out right now!
With 8 points each, Golden Gods and Beautiful, Beautiful Gazelle People were showing their might. Birds of War were in the mix with 5 points, but would they find that tail wind to take flight and finish strong? The teams thought that 8 points would be enough to take the lead in round 2, however taking a huge leap, Beautiful, Beautiful Gazelle People leaped into 1st place by taking an amazing 11 points in round 2!
Instead of being a majestic Peregrine Falcon in round 3, Birds of War, flew more like a hummingbird during round 3. Their wings were going fast but they were going nowhere. With a tough round 3, they saw themselves sitting in 3rd place at the end. Beautiful, Beautiful Gazelle People, after that amazing leap in round 2, they found themselves in the river with the crocodiles. With this huge distraction, and only 2 bonus points on the final question of the night, the Golden Gods completed their climb and saw themselves sitting atop Mount Olympus, looking down as they took the W in game 2 by a single point.
What a great game and such a fun venue!

A huge shout out to Ileana (hope I spelled that correct) and Lane for taking care of all the players this past Thursday night! You 2 did an amazing job keeping the beers full and bringing out hot, delicious pizza!
